Like most people I too have struggled with finding a solution for mounting an ISO image in a virtual drive. My old solution -Alchohol 120% - does not work on Windows Vista and they do not give a date when they will have a solution. So I did some research and found the following:
1. Daemon Tools - claims to work with Windows Vista, haven't checked.
2. Slysoft Virtual CloneDrive - works with Vista RTM, but the driver is not signed.
3. MagicISO - This is freeware and claims to work with Vista. When I tried running it, Vista gave the app compat warning. Did not install and check.
